HP has done it again:  Vastly increased the performance and manageability of their enterprise servers, while consuming less energy.  With 3x the power of the G7 line, these machines can handle gigantic workloads, with far less management required.  Building on their "sea of sensors" from G7, the machines monitor 1600 server-health parameters, bringing pre-failure notifications to a very granular level.

HP has updated their Windows-based Slate 500 to the Slate 2.  Targeted at verticle markets such as healthcare and education, the current machine brings high mobility and power to the equation.

New in the Slate 2 is a new processor (Intel Atom Z670), improved display, optional built-in mobile broadband, and improved battery life.
